Project WHERE, Bergen

Organic shapes and bold colors (part 2)

In the artists’ village of Bergen, idyllically situated on the edge of the forest, this unique villa seamlessly blends furniture, color, and art. “To immediately see something that makes you happy upon entering” is what Inge Veldt envisioned, and together with her husband Niels, she achieved. In 2024, WHERE saw the light of day: an inspiring home, also suitable for charities and business purposes. Via eStudio designed and executed much of the floor and wall finishes.

Abundant Color and Rounded Shapes
The ground floor features a beautiful, spacious space for events, meetings, and dinners. Just like the first floor, this space is filled with color and distinctive shapes, creating a unique interior.

Soft curves and a fresh green custom color
The large, colorful kitchen on the ground floor takes pride of place. It has slightly less freeform shapes than the pink kitchen on the first floor, but was also custom-designed with soft curves. The fresh green color, like the finishes elsewhere in this villa, was specially created by Via eStudio, in close consultation with Inge Veldt.

Quartstone
New, distinctive, light, spacious, and warm at the same time. With many terracotta and salmon shades, and even steel doors and frames spray-painted in a matching color. Via eStudio was also delighted to contribute to this unique villa project, wHERE, with our lime plaster (on the walls) and the incredibly strong, seamless Quartstone (on the floor, among other things).
