Through eStudio, owner Sandra van der Werf discovered a new stucco product in France in 2006: ciré concrete. This natural facade cladding, barely known in the Netherlands at the time, immediately appealed to her.

“In other Mediterranean countries, you already saw houses with lime and plastered exterior walls. Morocco, for example, has the centuries-old lime-based Tadelakt, which was often used in hammams. And in tropical countries, you also see polished concrete, for example, for floors. But to achieve the right color, it requires many layers. This is in contrast to ciré concrete.”

First supplier of béton ciré in the Netherlands
She became so enthusiastic that she decided to introduce this product in our country as well. After gaining experience in construction and at architectural firms, Via eStudio became the very first supplier of béton ciré in our country. And not only for facade cladding and other exteriors, but also for offering quality and beauty indoors.

If a thin layer of cement alone can hold those colors outdoors, it naturally had to be possible indoors too! They thought so in France too, where they further developed traditional béton ciré for bathrooms and other interior spaces.

Pro: even more durable, long-lasting, and waterproof
The version that Via eStudio started selling met even higher requirements. “For example, we replaced the wax with a strong, synthetic impregnation layer with two layers of coating. This makes Béton ciré even more durable, long-lasting, and waterproof. It’s therefore suitable not only for walls, but also for more delicate applications such as floors, bathroom fixtures, and kitchens.”

In the early years, Via eStudio gained extensive experience in applying (among other things) Béton ciré Pro. This premium-quality microcement has become a defining feature in many exclusive projects. For many years now, Via eStudio has also specialized in other plaster materials, also standardly ready for shipment: Quartz stone, lime plaster, and Metal plaster.

Technical and aesthetic advice
“In 2025, Via eStudio’s core business is supplying our specialty plasters to installers, wholesalers, and private individuals. We also organize workshops to learn how to work with Béton ciré Pro and lime plaster. Furthermore, we collaborate with architects and stylists, and we contribute ideas on both the technical implementation and the aesthetic choices.”
